Problem with video grabber windows 7

I am having a problem with ezcap video grabber. The programme goes through the motions of capturing the output from a camcorder but fails to transfer the content to a video file. Spoke to help desk at ionaudio who could not help but suggested a problem with DLL files. RegCure pro have also proved as useless as a chocolate teapot. This rig was purchased from PC World with a preinstalled Windows 7 so I do not have access to a repair disc. Is there a solution to this problem? Bob Exeter
