best slide scanner for 15,000, 35mm slides

I have a huge amount of slides to scan (aprox 15,000), but I don't want to send them off to a service due to money and the thought of loosing them.

Please could I have some guidance on what scanner to get, I have a budget of about £500-2k. Some of the obvious candidates are the Epson V750, Nikon 5000 with the SF-210 auto feed and the Braun multimag 6000.

The focus is on quality and speed, so Digital ICE would be very useful.

I would be very grateful to hear your thoughts,

Freddie
