I have made a slideshow using FastStone Image viewer. The finished file as been saved as a .exe file. Is it possible to burn this to a DVD so as to be able to view the slideshow on TV and a PC.

You should bear in mind that slideshows burnt to standard DVDs will never look as good as the original photos. Firstly, the resolution is far lower (720x576), secondly, the pixel ratio is different (oblong for video, square for digital camera image). This means that much of the detail of your lovely high-res photos is lost in the re-sampling process. Blu-ray is considerably better.
