Mobile wifi 300N range extender

In hotels the wifi signal is often verry week. I use an Asus Eee Pad TRF201 with just wifi. Therefore I'am looking for a mobile wifi 300N range extender. It should not to be configured with a PC, but plug&play. When ariving in an other hotel it should just work when power is on. Has anyone recommendations and experiance with this?

No range extender will do that, because each hotel WiFi network has a different name, and you have to configure the extender (using its configuration interface on your laptop/netbook) to connect to that specific network router. You'll need to enter the password provided by the hotel in each case before the extender can make the connection. Your computer then makes its connection to the extender, and not directly to the hotel's router.

Thanks for your reply. I read information about the D-link cloud companion: http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/wireless/wireless-reviews/31812-d-link-dir-505-shareport-mobile-companion-reviewed Is this only for making an accesspoint of a wired network? Not for extending the range of a wifi netwerk?
