folders dissapearing from documents library

I have quite a few folders in my documents library and the following has now happened on a couple of times.I double licked on the folder to open it and nothing happened did it again same thing tried a third time and the folder vanished looked in recycle bin not there any one any ideas.I use windows 7

Is it the Library folder that disappears? If so go to windows explorer, expand Computer, C drive, Users, (your name), and check the My Documents folder. They should still be there and it might be a problem with Libraries only.

Hi rdave23 I click on start then select documents which takes me to documents library then select a folder in the documents folder I then tried to open that folder and that is when it dissapeared.Everything is fine apart from the folder I wanted to open
