My PC has got itself stuck in a non-stop cycle of installing two updates EVERY TIME I shut down. Every time I turn it back on the same indicator keeps making an appearance on the shut down button! What's going on? !!!

Normally I would direct you to Windows Update Reset tool, but it's on my web site that I cant use.

so the other tool to use that's quite excellent is from "Tweeking.com"

Windows Repair (All in one)

Turn off Automatic Updates, Reboot then Try Manually Updating through Start Button Windows Update, Use Custom

The same as woodchip but maybe install them one at a time in case there is one of them that is creating the problems.
