Windows Vista port access vulnerability.

Hi, I run Vista on my laptop for several years with no significant issues. Has Macafee pre-loaded from day 1. I just checked with 'Shields Up'utility (Gibson Research - used it previously v good). When checking port vulnerability my PC failed, apparently ports 135, 139 and 445 resonded to theur probe albeit reported Closed (rather than Stealth). I rest my Firewall to original default settings. Re-ran test and no difference - still fails for above reason. Why might this be.... and what can I do to secure the ports? Thanks Frank Roles
