I am looking for the best possible gaming pc for £1000 or under but I am a complete newbie when it comes down to choosing what I need in the laptop to get the ultimate gaming experience I can! I want to be able to put games up to the highest settings possible or near enough! I went on PC specialist and put together a computer I thought might be good but am probably paying too much for. I ain't really interested in building a computer myself but if it is as easy as people have been saying may be willing to give it a try

This is the computer I put together, I do want it to look pretty cool but to be honest I just want the ultimate gaming experience! Altogether comes up to around £920

Take a look at this from Scan , http://3xs.scan.co.uk/ConfigureSystem.asp?SystemID=1015 . see what you think . as you can see it is easily customised to the spec you want .

Thanks nickf! yea it looks pretty sweet like I said I want the best gaming experience possible and the max I can go is £1000 but unfortunately at the moment I have an All in One Touchsmart desktop so cant keep the monitor, keyboard etc which is a pain!

I must say you are not going to get the ultimate gaming experience for a grand if you need to add peripherals to the mix.

Your list includes the 64Bit version of Windows but only 4GB RAM which makes the 64Bit version pointless. I would prefer a better PSU than yours with a least 500W of power.

Case is not particularly special for the money more show than substance. You should be looking for decent airflow and cooling. Easy enough to add LED fans to a case if you want the bling. I like blue LED's myself and even my case feet have LED's in them.

Have a look at these.

Chillblast Fusion Blaze

If you can save another £200 then this is a great gaming PC.

Chillblast Fusion Firebird

Another good one that comes in under budget except for speakers.

Yea I put the 64 bit windows in because that is what my current computer uses but is there a real difference between the 32 bit and 64 bit? sorry for such newbie questions!

ah right ok thanks. Which would you say is the best buy out of the Chillblast Fusion Blaze and the Chillblast Fusion Vantage? Also I have seen the Fusion Yogsblast but thought I night then just be over paying for that?

Without a doubt the Vantage as you have a SSD for your operating system and programs with a 2TB HDD for every thing else. It has a far better graphics card and you are looking for a decent gaming PC. Compare GPU's.

Forget about the Yogblast as although it is a reasonable PC it lacks an SSD, monitor, keyboard ETC and the GPU GTX670 is as good as the 7950 I think overall the Vantage is a better value package.

That's great thanks:) so it could handle the likes of Battlefield 3 for example without lagging or even being able to get the game working? I mean the computer I have now can barely handle SimCity which I found amusing at first but after a while gets very very annoying
