I have a Linksys wrt54G router which I have my new laptop connected wirelessley. My problem is that when anyone comes to visit and brings their Ipad 3 they will not connect. Three different people have tried with their ipad but not one connects. I am also thinking of purchasing an ipad but it is putting me off if I won't be able to connect. Please can anyone help.

The iPad is certainly capable of connecting to an 802.11g (54Mbps) router. Are you using WPA or WPA2 encryption? I'm not sure if it would connect if only WEP was being used.

Did any of them see your network and was the right password used?

Try turning off your router for 30 seconds and then restart it. There's usually a button on the router, if not, power down the laptop and start everything up again.
