Can I set up 2 HDDs to run 2 different OSs

I want to instal a new SSD to run with an existing HDD. I want to run Windows 8 on the SSD and Windows 7 on the HDD. I also want to be able to boot from either. Is this possible? If so how do I set up. I am ok to instal and if a raid set up it is from the BIOS. Your suggestions would be most welcome.

Yes but you have to use a boot manager, I think 7 and 8 as one built in. but how you use3 it? you may need to check the net for booting them

See if you can use a "boot selection" option in your bios boot up screen. I can press F8 and select any disc I like.
