Cannot Shut down Windows 8

Running Windows 8 Pro 64 bits after upgrade from Windows 7 home PC Hp Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC Restart OK Standby OK Hibernate OK Only stop is NOK... What can I do to stop properly without using my power stop?

Are you reading the pages through the Internet App? If so try using your browser from the desktop. This should allow you to have the window open to read and be able to briefly access the settings. Alternatively write down the most important bits.
