Cannot Shut down Windows 8

Running Windows 8 Pro 64 bits after upgrade from Windows 7 home PC Hp Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC Restart OK Standby OK Hibernate OK Only stop is NOK... What can I do to stop properly without using my power stop?

I tested "How to shut down Windows 8" Result od test : Restart is OK / Shutdown is NOK ... No effect.... PC still running.. regards

Try turning off fast start-up. See disable fast shut down

I cannot print for the moment all this information that you send me.. I created a shortcut on my desktop... to shutdown ... and I can shutdown without problem. I cannot understand that shutdown integrated in system can not perform that !!!

Explanation : I have no printer here... so cannot print information ! I find a solution to shut down ... Using Power switch is too dangerous for HD !!
