Getting On-line Bank Statements with different Browser?

Recently I have been having problems getting printed copies of on-line bank statements or even opening pages. I have no problems with other banking websites, just one. Never had this problem till about a month ago, so its become a bit of a mystery, except possibly for a website maintenance routine, the bank did about a month or so ago.

Using Windows XP, with Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer 8. The particular bank offers advice on IE upto IE8 and not the other two browsers. Taking the advice given by the bank I can now open and download with IE8.

Any suggestions as to any possible changes for Chrome or Firefox that I should consider doing or checking?.

I've never had to change any settings on IE or Chrome for banks, just login to the appropriate site and Bob's yer Uncle. What change did they give you for IE?

Click Tools- Select Internet Options- Click Advanced- Scroll Down to Security Sub Option- Ensure the 'Do Not Save Encryption Pages to Disk' is ticked- Click on "Apply" button.

I had similar problems with using an online bank account a while ago. I could use the site normally with IE but not Chrome. Like yours, my problem arose following a site update.

I notified the bank - as, I imagine, did many others and they fixed it. No problems since.

I had a problem with IE9 with one bank in that statements would not open. OK in Firefox or Chrome. They have now fixed the problem.

I am due to write a letter to the bank today or tomorrow, and will ask them for a possible comment?.

If it was like the last time I contacted a bank about a similar problem, the response at that time, was they "knew about a problem, but had set no time-scale on fixing it"?.
