Hi. Today I got a new ATI card. I installed the 2 HDMI ports (pc and tv/monitor) but it didn't display any image. Then I have to do it using VGA and it work normally. What's wrong?

Looking here (Samsung), it would seem that Samsung do not do 42" TV's. Can you link to your model as I am having trouble finding it myself?

Hi Chronos, Thanks for that (sorry is 40") . The problem was the HDMI port because the tv/monitor has 4 ports and I used 3 different cables. I sent it back to Amazon and I got a replacement and it's working BUT still a problem. The resolution is 1920 x 1080 but the quality of the photos and text is not good. Is that of a very low resolution(I just took a little break) to change to VGA and the display is perfect SO why I'm having this problem with HDMI if it's supposed to be better. It looks that I'm destined to use only VGA.

Can you not change the resolution? You should be able to do it within windows.

but the highest is 1920 x 1080 which I have. Also the main thing is WHY with VGA I'm getting a perfect display and with HDMI that is supposed to be better.the display is not good.
