clsid verification host has stopped working

this has recently started and comes up when I click to save a file. I am using Vista home with service packs and updates installed. Does anyone know how to correct this?

If you have CCleaner run the registry tool in there and fix all issues run it a few times until it finds no issues

this is usually a registry problem.

I have added the file to the allow through firewall and will report back if it has cured the problem
