MS Powerpoint help - where is it?

I've been trying to get help with Powerpoint by clicking the "help" button. This produces a box - "Configuring MS Office Professional Plus 2010" then "a reboot is necessary to complete the process".
But after the re-booting, and clicking on "help" then F1, the whole process starts all over again - and I'm no nearer to getting the help I want with Powerpoint. It's like going round in circles! Am I missing something? All I want is the MS Help page - index, topics etc. How do I access this resource?
