Is it normal for appdata to be deeply nested in itself?

Whilst doing a robocopy with a modifier /256, I discovered a huge amount of files with long paths in appdata e.g c:\users\john\appdata\appdata\appdata..........appdata\Adobe10\DATA.

Is this deep nesting (appdata\appdata...10x or more) normal in Windows or is there something wrong?

Doesn't seem normal to me.
