Are windows laptops good for graphic design?

Hi everyone , first of all i would like to say i know allot of people use mac for graphic design . but i am wondering are windows laptops good for graphic design ? i am looking at a Sony Vaio i5 processor comes with 8 GB of Ram 1T HD 64 bit OS Intel R core (TM i5 - 3210m cpu @ 250 GHZ it has 4 processors 2 cores, hyper v support i will also be using it for gaming i would like to know your thoughts thanks in advance
