Windows Live Mail - 'A problem occurred while trying to open this message'.

On random emails I get the above message. Have tried repairing Win Live Mail and updating it to no avail. Seems a common problem without any solid resolutions. Come on Microsoft, sort it!

Anyone found a working solution?

Well certainly lots of people with the same problem on Google.

I think 2012 is the latest version is that the one that you use.

Hi Jock1e, Yes it is. I have logged back into the server and resent the emails and this time they open Ok. Did read somewhere that if you try to open the emails too quickly before WLM has opened and settled down, then that is when it is poss to get this problem. Not impressed with it as an Email client if it don't work proper!

I get the same problems now and again but none of my e-mails are that important that I need them the same day.

I usually try a reboot or leave it till next day it usually sorts itself out.

Not that keen on Outlook.com so I really do not want to go there,Much prefer WLM.

I have 4 different e-mail addresses so I can understand getting the odd problem.
