Inrernet wont start up untill restart

I am running BT yahoo every so often after i have left computer without using it the internet wont start untill i do a restart the it works ok the computer cant find any fault for this happening it;s driving me potty Using win 7 64bit Thanks

It may be because windows 7 is shutting off the network adapter when the pc is idle.

Try

Start - Control Panel - in the search box at the top type in adapter - under network and sharing centre click on view network connections.

Right click on your connection and in the drop-down box click on Properties - Click the networking tab and configure - click on power management tab and make sure that the box allow the computer to turn off this device to save power is unticked.

As above go to Device Manager, check Wireless Network not set to Disconnect when system Idle
