Nero auto backup - do i need it?

As per a prior post, my folders are maxing out. i've downloaded windirstat and it appears as though my nero autobackup is 2.4TB+ !

By drillingdown i can see lots of folders, with dates 'local autobackup' - i had not realised i had been backing up using nero - i generally back up using ext HD but am considering backing up online too

Can i stop nero backup, delete all the nerobackup folders and then back up on ext HD whilst i consider my options to backup online?

Of course you can

as long as you have a back up stratagy you are happy with hen either stp or uninstall nero.
