Gmail printing only half a page

I've been trying to help a blind friend resolve a printing problem. If he opens an email longer than half a page and uses CTRL+P the Print box appears showing "Total: 1 sheet of paper" and the preview pane shows only the top half of the first page of the email. (Being 90% blind, using the mouse is extremely difficult.) I have tried it on my PC at home and get the same result but if I click on the Printer icon instead of CTRL+P I get the correct results. CTRL+P works for him printing from the Internet, Word, etc. I have tried it using Gmail from both IE and Chrome but the results are the same. Has anyone come across this?

You need to press CTRL+ A to select all the page , then CTRL +P to print it.

I've just tried that, Terry. CTRL+A selects the whole area but following it with CTRL+P still only prints half the first page. Alister
