Crashing problem internet explorer problem

Mc Afee box has gone. Still have problem with Internet explorer crashing. When I am using the internet,a box comes up and says interent explorer has stopped unexpectedly. I also keep getting a box entitled 'Windows Internet Explorer' that reads: Stop running this script? A script on this page is causing your web browser to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive. Yes No' Is anyone familiar with this problem? Does anyone know what is causing it and how to fix it?

When you say McAfee box has gone , what do you mean ? you may have some malware on your PC . suggest you download Malwarebytes Chameleon , and run it ( free download )
