Hi folks. My new computer came installed with microsoft starter and a trial version of Office as well as microsoft "click to run" which shows as a drive(Q) If I uninstall "click to run" will I still be able to use the trial version of office just the same? Has anyone here had it and uninstalled it?Thanks.

Hi Chronos I know how to remove it it's just that I'm not sure that if by doing so it will have any effect on the use of the microsoft office products I have installed?

I know nothing of the fancy Click to Run installer but I found this info on Heidoc.net

"The C2R editions are virtual installations running from the Cloud. They require a permanent internet connection to run properly. The C2R editions contain the same applications as the standard editions, and leave any other Office installation on the same system completely untouched. The keys for the standard editions will work for C2R too. If you're unsure about this, please don't download C2R, but choose a standard edition. "

I should add that there are NO product keys on the link, it is just an info page of where to d/load the official MS products. You would have to buy a product key once the trial ran out.
