Dialogue Boxes - Windows

Sometimes when I make a selection that results in a dialogue box coming up the box is bigger than the screen, and it is not possible to see, or use, the options.
A typical example is "Save As" for a web page, and it happens in both Chrome and FF.
It is obviously some font or accessibility setting I've made, but I've tried resetting all the ones I can think of but still have the problem.
Any ideas lease? (Win 7, 64)

The first thing to check is.
Control Panel - Display - is the top box chosen - smaller - 100% default?

That was one of the first ones I tried resetting before I posted, but so that I could truthfully say to you "I've tried that" I did it again, and lo and behold it worked!
I don't know what I did differently, I've been playing around with this for weeks before I posted, without success.
Anyway, thanks for the input to induce me to try it again!

Maybe the first time round you didn't click on the apply button for some reason. Glad it's sorted.
