I am not sure that I will explainn this properly, but here is an example: I have a picture of a newspaper and I want to put a persons picture into that newspaper. Is there anything out there like that? Thankyou.

With Basic Windows Paint Program: Open picture of Newspaper with Paint program | Edit | Paste from | browse to file where photo is, select it, click on Open | the photo will now be on top of the newspaper | put cursor on a corner of the photo until you see a 2 headed diagonal arrow, and drag the photo to the right size you want it to be | put cursor in middle of photo until you see 4 headed arrow, and drag the photo to position it on the newspaper
Repeat last two steps until you have photo where you want it (it might be more convenient to drag it to roughly where you want it before resizing from diagonal corner)
To set it in posititon so it is not selected move cursor to another part of Newpaper picture and leftclick.
That's it, you can now save your new picture with a different name, Click on File | Save As | choose where to save it to | type a file name and choose type (jpg or whatever you want from the drop down menu)
If you have leftclicked on another part of picture by mistake and can't resize your photo, go to Edit | Undo which will remove the photo and then you start all over again from Edit | Paste from | browse to file | select and click on Open

Aye, it's easy when you know how... this'll make you lol - I've just spent 2 hours installing, reinstalling, downloading new drivers for printer as couldn't get it to scan to pdf in Toolbox software... then realised I'd never pressed 'Apply' when I changed scan dpi settings... Now it all works ok and have got my finished pdf files. c'est la vie :)
