Want to connect tablet to TV wirelessly.

Hello, I would like to connect a tablet PC to a TV without the HDMI cable. There seems to be lots of devices available, I just need the simplest thing. A couple of little dongle type things I had in mind smaller the better. I have had a good look but not sure what is most suitable. Any suggestions please.

Another thought on this. I can watch TV on my tablet without any cables so why can't I transmit it to a TV via an external receiver at the TV end. I could probably do it via a cheap wireless router but there has to be a better solution.

Apple TV is a device (but it is £99)like that for the iPad. Do Google "HDMI to HDMI via wireless" and you will see a number of devices.

john bunyan, your second link "HP" is closest yet to what I what I want but again expensive, perhaps I am expecting too much, I was hoping to find something around £30 to £40 quid.

I think that you require a DNLA adaptor for the TV and a DNLA app for the tablet. Something like this

Hi again and thanks, looks like I want the unobtainable so I will need to compromise. Fruitbats and john bunyan's links both came up with the nearest thing so far"Q wave Quicklink". There is so much stuff out there it gets a bit mind boggling.
