Videos randomly stop !

So if I am watching any videos on any website or downloading anything, the video/download will just stop, it will say it is buffering but will never continue, I am running on the downloaded version of windows 8. My internet isn't great in my house but another laptop in my house on the same internet runs videos just fine.
