Taking for ever to load pages. Using Chrome at the moment.
FF 18.0.1. This version has been noticeably slower since I updated.

Is the option to retain FF setting when uninstalling via Add/Remove?
Usually use Revo.
Ran the DNS thing--got the black window for half a second and went.
That is a space between config and the / ?

I think you get the same with Revo on setting 3 it should ask you if you want to keep your settings.Either that or on setting 3 it does not delete your settings.
On setting 4 it would delete everything.

Yes a space after ipconfig /and before the forward slash.
It should have told you that the dns cache has been flushed.
It only takes a few seconds.
Also maybe try Services and scroll down to DNS Client make sure it is set to automatic and is running.

Try with your firewall turned off.
If no difference try with Kaspersky Turned off.
Not sure if your Kaspersky has also got a firewall or not if so make sure Windows Firewall is turned off.
Have you got W/Defender switched off in Services. If you don't use it switch it off.
Only other think I can think of is when you Installed Kaspersky did you use the proper removal tool for removing your old A/V.
Not got Trusteer Rapport on your computer as that has been known to cause a few problems.

Tried with Kas off and with just Kas Firewall off.
Had Kas for over 2 years with no problems. Think the previous was AVG and removed all of it.
No to Rapport.
No W. Def. and Windows Firewall has been off since I got Kas..
Think it must be router, but will reinstall FF first.
Thanks for all your time.
