Taking for ever to load pages. Using Chrome at the moment.

FF 18.0.1. This version has been noticeably slower since I updated.

That's on the list, but thanks.

The problem on FF is posting a reply. Round and round goes the circle.

Before you do that, close FF then run CC twice. Reboot, wait for desktop to load all then try FF.

Only this site is slow to open now. Started a Kaspersky scan just now. but it was showing 5 hrs to run so will run tonight.

See if this posts. Surprised to see my 1021pm here as I posted and the little green circle went round and round

for twenty minutes so I switched off.

Although just a tiny bit slow on Firefox it still opens quick enough.

Looks like you have problems with your computer.

Maybe try Command prompt and type in ipconfig /flushdns it should tell you the DNS Cache has been flushed. If using XP you have to reboot.Anything else you don't.

It sometimes helps so worth a try.

When it is running slow go into Taskmanager, processes. and under CPU see what is using up most of your CPU.

If nothing running System Idle Process should be showing about 97% and that is normal.

Anything else using up a lot of the CPU let us know what.

Have you tried changing channels on your router to see if that would help.

It has to be something to do with your computer or wireless connection.

If you delete Firefox it will ask you if you want to keep your settings.Tick that and when you reinstall Firefox all your old settings should be be Ok.

I had to reinstall Firefox last night and that is how I did it by saving my settings.

Already checked TM. Idle is 97%

Trying to d/load FF. Get into the site quick enough, but any further into the site it wont go.

Don't think I will risk changing channels---could be grounded for a week!!

Presumably if I eboot router it will come back as is?

Must be something wrong with the computer.Have you checked in device manager for yellow exclamation marks.

I had an unsigned driver that used to give me the same sort of problem.

have you tried a speed check just to see what speeds you are getting from your ISP.

Pick your language for Firefox.
