I just realised that it will be difficult to get an App without a keyboard. I don't suppose you have a standalone K/B with a Mini USB connection?

Use your finger to go to the settings tab.

See my previous post. Once up and running forget parental controls and supervise the child for a set amount of minutes a day.

If all else fails and you have to do a factory Restore this was posted on another forum by a user who had the same problem:

"For the Kurio 7 I had exactly the same problem today and i think it is resolved. I had to do a restore factory settings, this is not explained well anywhere, so here is a step by step guide. First whilst the Kurio is on press and hold the power button and volume + buttons until the kurio shuts down and re-starts. You will see a robot laying down with a warning triangle over the top. Press the volume + button again and you will see 4 options. You can toggle the options by pressing the + and - buttons, select by pressing the power button. You can try to select the re-boot first, but this didnt fix the problem for me. I had to use the option for restore factorys settings/ wipe user data. When I did this the keyboard problem was fixed... But you do have to set the user profile up from scratch and apply the parental settings again. Restore does keep all the pre-loaded apps on the kurio (angry birds etc.) Hope this helps"
