WINDOWS XP HANGING WITH NEW USB LAN ADAPTER

Installed Micronet SP907GK on Windows XP machine to connect with TalkTalk wireless router. Seemed to install OK with XP driver and make good connection with password entered. Then PC hangs totally, can't even open Task Manager. Have to restart PC with on/off switch. Any ideas ??

Boot to safe mode (tap f8 during boot - select safemode from the menu)and uninstall the driver.

Boot normally and check everything is OK and its not something else causing XP to hang. reinstall the driver and retry.
