How to repair recovered corrupted .mov video files?

I recently deleted a video (.mov) files from my (canon) digital camera's SD card accidently. I recovered it using: recuva, wondershare data recovery and photorec softwares. I got back what seems to be the deleted files which shows to be quicktime movie format (.mov) but cannot be played on either quicktime player or itunes player. I also tried VLC player but in vain. The recovered files are showing to have sizes (ranging from 46 to 480 MB). So, they 'exist'.
So, what could probably the problem? Can I repair these files somehow? If yes, please, all suggestions are welcome.
Thanks in advance.

I would have used only recuva to recover to pc. I am not optimistic that they can be repaired.
You will be aware of this now but copy files to pc and back up before deleting anything.
