I have Windows 7 - I recently downloaded Chrome without a problem - I wanted to add on my favourite gadgets. BBC News - Local Weather - Calendar - To Do etc. Found these and pressed "add" they have not appeared - anyone any idea where these are?

Thanks JohnM.

Have you opened a new tab, looked at the bottom and selected apps instead of most visited?

WOOLWELL.

Thanks for the reply - I still cannot do what I want.

I have gone to Google Gadgets and selected the ones I need, those in the apps section are far too gimmicky.

I want to have a page with my selection, anyway of doing this.

Are you trying to add gadgets to your Google Home page eg iGoogle?

Are you signed in?

In November the iGoogle will be unavailable - I have just bought a new desktop, what I wanted was to have the same or a similar Homepage, thinking is was a good opportunity to make the change. Nothing but aggro.

Thanks for your trouble.

I haven't found anything that is as good to replace iGoogle with.
