Tab Problem in Firefox/Waterfox

HELP!!!!

For some reason, and it started suddenly, when I now click onto something in Firefox/Waterfox, it will open the page in a new tab. I haven't added anything, installed anything, and up to about 10 minutes from this post, the problem wasn't there.

I have checked options and I have "open new windows in new tab instead" unticked.

Has anyone else come across this and if so how do I solve it? It is really annoying.

Options.Tabs.Untick the first one and see if that helps.

Have you got Don't load tabs unless selected ticked.

I have restarted the laptop and it now seems the problem is solved. No idea what caused it though.

Sometimes a reboot fixes a lot of problems but it is usually the last thing I think of doing for some reason.

The easy way is sometimes the best.Glad you got it sorted.

teacher is waterfox just a 64bit ver of firefox or is it better?
