My motherboard does not have a PCI express slot. (P4i65G)
Can I use the AMR1 slot instead for a SATA Card?
Thanks

No, you can't/shouldn't connect a PCI-E card to an audio/modem riser slot.

No ou cannot this is very old tech,as is your motherboard, this stands for Audio Modem Riser. It is a format invented (developed?) by intel and is very similar to their other format, CNR. communication and networking riser.
To add sata to your mobo you will need one of these. Google.

You might need to install drivers dependent on what operating system you are using.
