Maybe an impossible question to answer but every time I switch my PC on the sound source has hiccups. So I uninstall sound driver switch off PC and back on and driver auto installs and everything is OK. But why?

Instead of uninstalling the driver why not try updating it via Device Manager?

Thanks for that. Update does work and requires that PC restarts so is marginally quicker than turning PC off and back on again. Irritating thing is to go through this milarky to get decent sound.
