HP DESKJET 6540 BROKEN COLOUR CARTRIDGE LATCH.

Does anyone know where I can obtain a replacement for a broken colour catridge latch ( the green plastic One) for a HP Deskjet 6540. I have tried all the likely HP spares vendors without success. I am aware that this HP model is obsolete but it is still working okay.

You may have great difficulty with this - a search in this LINK enter link description here lists your model (page 4) but not the part you are after. However there is a facility to send an email to Partmaster (nothing to lose) and if they can't supply they may be able to point you in the right direction.

I am still searching around for you.

To Northumbria61. Thanks for your response, I have already been in touch with bot of your suggestions but with no success. I have also searced worldwide with no success. I have now purchased a replacement printer.

                        Kind regards.
