My laptop died (warped motherboard) and have been trying to retrieve the data from my hard drive, got an akasa integral driver (2.5" sata/ide) but the port meant to go into the hard drive is totally different to the hard drive's. This is what my hard drive port looks like, can someone tell me which enclosure I need, thanks http://postimage.org/image/w2atpwl6j/

You have a standard looking SATA drive as shown here. You have two options, either buy a dock, similar to these, but ensure it will take both 2.5" and 3.5" drives, or a SATA caddy for a 2.5" drive, you will need to decide if you want a USB powered unit or with mains power.
The USB caddy is likely to be more easily transported but ensure your ports provide enough power. A dock is more flexible as it will support both sizes od drive and you can swap them as required.

Thanks for your help, I borrowed the previous enclosure from a friend but this is clearly not your standard, have just ordered a different enclosure and based on the images; it has the same port Thanks again
