Since installing Zone alarm my computer has slowed down

I have recently installed Zone alarm on a laptop and notebook,having previously run Norton. Both devices seem to have slowed down considerably. Are they any known conflicts.What can I do to resolve this?

You need to remove Norton using the tool from their website. Having 2 anti-viruses can cause problems even if one of them is not running.
