No sound from You tube with google chrome Browser

Hello and good morning to you all. Ive got a slight problem please. About a few weeks ago the sound just stopped on my youtube videos if i'm browsing via google chrome. My firefox and IE are both fine, any suggestions on how to resolve this please?

Is Java up to date?

Is Chrome your default browser? If so try setting iE or Firefox as your default browser and then see if Youtube works with Chrome.

OS?

Do you get sound with other videos using Chrome?

Having had a look on the internet, there appears to be a number of possible solutions to this problem.

Try 'no sound on youtube with google chrome', in a Google search, and it should bring up some and many interesting results.
