I have a hard drive in an enclosure taken from an old PC. On the hard drive there are F and G partitions when conected to my Windows 7 laptop. I have formatted each partition. How do I combind the 2 partitions into one.

You can get the FREE Partition Master Program from EASUS here > http://www.partition-tool.com/personal.htm

Delete the partitions, so then the whole drive will be 'unallocated' then create a partition using the whole of the drive.

If running XP or above try using Windows Disc manager. Right Click My Computer/Manage/Disc Manager

You have a good disk management system built into windows 7, use the link posted by chub_tor to learn how to use it to do what you want.
