Hi folks. I did a search on the intel site for driver updates and there was an update available which I installed. As well as the intel HD graphics driver,it also installed something called "intel SDK for openCL CPU only runtime package" in program and features.I can't find a clear explanation for what this does.It was only the driver I was wanting. Can this be uninstalled or is this needed?Any help is much appreciated.

"Can this be uninstalled or is this needed?"
The short answers to those questions are 'yes' and 'no'.
The files are for the use of developers of OpenCL applications on Intel Architecture. You'll have no use for them.

Hi FE So uninstalling it will have no effect on the driver it installed with?

Looks like a 'phone home' installation for developers.
