What is the cause of 'bubbly sound' which has started on my Medion computer. Playing a disc is normal but every other programme is affected.

Is the bubbly sound coming out of your speakers or is it the hard drive making a 'fizzing' sound?
If it is not coming out of your speakers, take the side off your pc tower and listen for where the sound is coming from. (don't touch anything inside when side is off and pc is switched on)

There are several causes of this feedback, it's a case of trial and error to find the cause. Some things to try on www.brighthub.com article. Try those and if not fixed post back and say what did not work. You could try repositioning the speakers first.

RBrianB , have you been playing with the sound properties by chance?
