MHL to HDMI

MHL to HDMI, anyone know if it is possible to enable this if the Manufacturer hasn't?

Thanks, fruit Bat, but the question is, not all manufacturers enable their phones even though the technology is built in. My question is, can the user do what the manufacturer didn't?

I have a Galaxy Y and a HUAWEI Ascend 300 Both of which have the MHL capability but neither of which actually do!

Very interesting reading, I had heard that MHL/HDMI connectors, unless Samsung Branded, would not work (Samsung branded are about 5 times more expensive) this seems to confirm it. Shades of Apple and their proprietary connections! are Samsung learning via litigation! lol.
