this weeks adobe flash update

on w7 installed ok
on xp will not install get script error for both IE and FF editions anyone else getting this.
also
[have auto update option ticked but never auto updates]

Not a lot of help but I cannot instal it on XP either, lets hope someone can give us the answer.

now installs used firefox to install, just would not install using IE.

Have you tried the full installer or just the online updater. The installers for IE and FF are different. If you don't have the facility to get these I can email them to you if you let me have your email address or I can upload them to one of my web sites.

alan tried adobe web,but IE seems to block the install of flash if used to download it. wierd.

Have you got pop-ups blocked? I was having problems all of a sudden, but turning off IE's pop-up blocker temporarily solved the prob.

Go to the Adobe site and download the "Windows Flash Player 11.5 ActiveX control content debugger (for IE)". Run this and it should resolve your problem.
