Update KB2310138 keeps trying to install, but....

Just had a look at my update history. This one started on 06/09/12 - it showed days of 'failed', then 'successful'. the next day (and every day for a week), the same update showed as 'failed', then eventually 'successful'.

This is still happening. Any thoughts as to why?

Thanks rdave, but this one says it's installed OK, then goes through several days of failed, before saying, again, successful.

Try the manual updating to see if that cures it.

Maybe you have it set to check once a week.I know you can set it to scan once a week not sure about the update.

Just noticed that the definition number in brackets are different, so it's MSE updating definitions but under the same KB number. What I don't understand, though, is why so many of them are failing to install.
