Flash Player Activation ?!

Why after the last Flash layer update do I get this:

"Flash Player Activation Your Flash Player is almost ready to be activated.

Step 1: Activate Your Flash Player

Dear xxxx

Your Flash Player is almost ready to be activated.

Please follow the link below to complete your registration:"

Never had it before and haven't activated it as it seems fishy.

Anyone else get it?

If from email have a look here. Delete it.

It came as the usual desktop notification. I installed that OK then received the email so I think it is probably as rdave13's

first link says. Flash Player is being watched by a third party.

Thanks rdave13. Have deleted both emails. (Had another today obviously because I hadn't

fallen for it.)

Just had another 'activation' email.
