PSP not working - shall I get it repaired or buy a new one?

Hi Folks

My son has got a 3 year old psp and the charger does not seem to be working properly. Also, it seems as though the back part of the PSP (where he inserts the disc) is faulty too, because the games no longer work either.

Would you advice that I get it repiared or should I buy him a new one?

Thanks in advance for your response.

I suspect getting it repaired would be the more expensive option so my advice is get a new one. Although you could check how much it would cost but having a quick Google at the low(ish) price of a new one that is option I would take
