Acer 5542 keyboard issues

We have a acer laptop and some keys have stopped responding b, v, z, ', and space. Can anyone advise is this likely to be a keyboard issue or something more serious?

Maybe ask the question on here.
I suppose it could be a new keyboard that is required.Do you get nothing at all when you press those keys.

You may not need a new keyboard but that gives you an idea as to what it would cost.

Looked at those earlier. Absolutely nothing when keys pressed. Had existing keyboard out to check connections and for dirt etc but no change. May go for the keyboard, cheaper to try than repair shop. Thanks for replying!

New keyboard arrived today, fitted and all working!! Had a slight issue in that the teeny black plastic clamp pinged off mid way through fitting - I now have a spotless conservatory having cleaned every inch to then find it inside an envelope!!

Well at least you found it.Amazing where some of them dissapear to not to be seen again.
